Holiday Treasures Gift Shop™ serves schools nationwide from its Midwest base. We are proudly family-owned and operated for more than 55 years from our main headquarters in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Today, our founder’s granddaughter continues the legacy, assisting with customer service calls.
Holiday Treasures is a program of Fun Events, which specializes in fundraising events for schools. Each year we design 100% of our gifts incorporating themes inspired by the latest movies and toy trends. Each gift is carefully selected by our team of moms and tested to meet safety standards set in the Consumer Product Safety Improvement ACT (CPSIA). Gifts are delivered by our trucks in most Wisconsin and northern Illinois communities. UPS will deliver and pick up at all other schools nationwide. We love what we do!
Our service team members have an average 20 years’ experience in the holiday shop business. While national in scope, we maintain the family-owned approach that sets us apart. We don’t pressure or over-promise; we simply deliver on our commitments. We would love the opportunity for our “family” to serve yours!
Joe has over 40 years of experience in the special event and holiday shop industry. He began working in his family’s business as a teenager. After getting his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Joe assumed additional responsibilities and eventually took over the role of president in 1988. Joe is the visionary and day-to-day leader of Holiday Treasures Gift Shop. Since taking the reins, the company has become the largest holiday shop supplier in the Midwest and one of the prominent national companies in the industry. Joe is still hands-on today and oversees all aspects of the holiday shop implementation. He takes pride in the quality and reputation built carefully along the way.
Paula is a PTO Mom and school marketing representative for Holiday Treasures. She became acquainted with our holiday shop gift program at her children’s elementary school. Their positive experience influenced her to join Fun Events in 2002 as our primary marketing contact for schools. Paula’s background includes a B.A. degree in Public Relations and Marketing, and an M.B.A. degree from Northwestern University, Chicago. She has experienced first-hand the challenges of running fundraising programs at schools while holding full-time and part-time jobs. You’ll hear a lot from her during the holiday gift shop season.
Erin started working at Fun Events as a summer intern in 2002 while attending college. She signed on as a full-time Fun staff member after graduating from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a bachelor’s degree in business. Today, Erin leads the customer service initiative for Holiday Treasures. She oversees a staff responding to customer queries and coordinates all our truck deliveries and reorder service to several hundred shops – all within a 3-week timeframe. Erin’s passion for people and detail makes her a perfect fit for the job. She is committed to a high level of service that truly exceeds customer expectations. She will bring a smile to your face.
Chris started at Fun Events in 2003 as an event team leader, and two years later was promoted to Warehouse Operations Manager. Today, Chris oversees the design and functionality of our Holiday Treasures website and all back-office operations including our proprietary Ez Scanner checkout technology. During the holiday shop season, he is available day and evenings for customer calls related to the use of their scanners. Chris’ friendly can-do attitude is critical during a hectic holiday shop season.
Sydney’s career at Fun Events began when she was little, always helping her father in any way she could, from packing prizes to running game booths at events. Throughout her childhood, Sydney continued following in her father’s footsteps, working her way up in the company. Upon graduating from high school in 2018, she joined the company full-time in the Events Department. During the holiday shop season, Sydney is our front-line service representative and answers customer calls first. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and diligent in meeting our customers’ requests. We know you’ll like her as much as we do!
